Early April is Cherry Blossom time in Japan!! The cherry trees, or Sakura, blossom quickly and then fall, but they are so beautiful that the Japanese celebrate this special time of year with lots of parties, parades, and just strolling between the trees and enjoying the views!

We have two sets of pictures for you here to enjoy--from both the Kintai Bridge (named after me) and Oshima Island, which is just a short drive down the coast from Iwakuni.
